Langford Centre

The Langford Centre provides Low Secure and High Dependency Rehabilitation for Mental Health and Autism. We support our patients from the point of admission to engage in their recovery pathway to promote successful reintegration back in to the community.

DAFFODIL 15 BED – Complex and Challenging Behaviour Service for females
BALMORAL 11 BED – High Dependency Rehabilitation Service For Female’s with Complex and Enduring Mental Health Conditions
SEAFORD 11 BED – High Dependency Rehabilitation Service for Men With Complex And Enduring Mental Health Conditions
COODEN LODGE 9 BED – Step Down High Dependency Rehabilitation Service For Men With Complex And Enduring Mental Health Conditions

We have an internal recovery pathway as our patients can transition from our Low Security and complex needs service to our High Dependency Rehabilitation wards whilst still being supported by the same multi-disciplinary team.
The Langford Centre comprises of 6 wards. All wards have access to their own private garden and therapy kitchens. All bedrooms are en-suite and there is a communal laundry room on each ward. We have fantastic links with various community organisations, including Bexhill College (where our clients are able to access various college courses), East Sussex football disability leagues, East Sussex disability cricket league, Bags of Taste, East Sussex Recovery College,
Hastings furniture restoration, Kiss my Disco, Barby Keel Animal Sanctuary, Chilli farm and many other community organisations that help our clients become re-integrated.

Interventions & Expertise

All patients will have a 12 week assessment process from admission to establish their individual needs and develop a bespoke recovery pathway, identifying recovery goals collaboratively with their psychologist and occupational therapist. Following this, each patient will receive an individual therapy timetable and embark on their recovery pathway.
